Theater Director
Mat Durand
“Mr. Mat”
Mat has been involved in performance art for over 12 years. He has been cast in dozens of plays, improvisational dinner theater, poetry readings, as well as constructed multiple sets, provided sound design, written scripts, worked in cinematography and brings his passion and skill set to our Children’s Theater and Film School. He personally attests to the multitude of benefits offered by the arts and reinforces this niche through education and everyday life.  He wants kids to be equipped to handle the future with extraordinary skills. Through CTF students will learn to act, dance, sing, and design sets and costumes. They will be introduced to working with sound, cinematography, editing and lighting. But above all, they will be educated on how to work together in order to create projects as a team.
